As such, we've worked diligently to put a number of programs and initiatives in place to show our employees how much we appreciate them—and how important their success is to us.
All of our affiliated facilities are built upon and operate via the Respect Program, which focuses on seven employee initiatives. Our goal is to provide a work environment where employees not only add value but are appreciated as well.
Launched in 2006, Blue Ribbon is a comprehensive employee rewards program created to identify and reward best practices through an internal competition among affiliated facilities.
The program motivates affiliated facilities to distinguish themselves in areas of Clinical Care, Respectful Culture, a Clean and Safe Environment, Customer Service and Efficient Business Practices.
Blue Ribbon reviewers spend the day conducting their evaluations during unannounced visits. Winning Blue Ribbon affiliated facilities receive a monetary award that is equally distributed to all employees.
STORMS OF LIFE FOUNDATION
The Storms of Life Foundation offers financial assistance to our staff during difficult times. The Foundation provides assistance with issues ranging from serious medical conditions to loss from natural disasters to death in the immediate family. The Foundation allows eligible employees who have completed 90 days of employment with invaluable financial assistance when they need it most.
The Foundation is fully supported by our employees through regular payroll deductions or by a one-time contribution. All donations are tax deductible, and Foundation supporters can rest assured that contributions and any employee grants remain fully confidential. A committee of representatives from various geographic locations representing diverse backgrounds reviews all applications for Foundation assistance on a monthly basis.
TRULY LISTENING TO OUR CUSTOMERS (TLC) THROUGH OUR AMBASSADORS
The TLC program is an important part of our culture – it represents the commitment we provide to our residents and patients. The management team in each affiliated facility aims to meet with every new resident in the first 48 hours of their stay, and from there, the resident is assigned an Ambassador who visits with them Monday through Friday with an aim toward meetings individual needs. It's that level of RESPECT we strive to provide the residents and patients that in turn helps foster an environment of RESPECT among our employees.
